draft-ietf-xmpp-e2e-requirements-00 (text | HTML) -- requirements and a threat analysis for end-to-end encryption
draft-meyer-xmpp-e2e-encryption-02 (text | HTML) -- a new approach to end-to-end encryption of XMPP traffic based on Transport Layer Security
draft-meyer-xmpp-sasl-cert-management-01 (text | HTML) -- a method for managing multiple end-user certificates related to a particular XMPP account, including best practices for use with SASL EXTERNAL authentication
