XSF Treasurer
As explained in the XSF Bylaws, the Treasurer of the XMPP Standards Foundation is responsible for the following:
- Maintaining custody of the XSF's monetary funds, including signing authority on the XSF's checking account
- Maintaining custody of the XSF's financial records, including accurate accounts of all receipts and disbursements
- Coordination and consultation with the Board of Directors, the Chair of the Board, and Executive Director on all appropriate issues
- Reporting on the XSF's financial status to the Members and to the Board of Directors
The founding Treasurer of the XSF was Stuart Lucko, who is also a financial officer of Jabber Inc. In 2003 he was replaced by Michael Bauer, who served until September 2006. Christina Millard then served as Treasurer until the end of 2009. As decided by the XSF Board of Directors in its annual meeting on 2010-01-06, the current Treasurer is Jack Moffitt.
